Easy Recipes you can prepare in Home Quarantine

Quarantine is Frustrating! Everyone is fighting their own battle with COVID-19
Quarantine has tested everyone's patience and some turned out really well and equally surprising.

It made us discover the hidden or less known talents and interests of ourselves, which could be very difficult to find due to our busy lifestyle.
Some turned out to be excellent Painters, Poets, Writers, and majorly a Chef!
Yes, learning how to cook has been a favorite pass time for all of us. Everyone has become a Home Chef during Lockdown.


So if you are a beginner at cooking then we present you some amazing recipes, which are super easy, to cheer you up in Quarantine.

1. Dalgona Coffee:

  • Well, we are all aware of this latest trend that rushed over the internet. Dalgona coffee/ wiped coffee is a definite try.
  • You just need Instant coffee, sugar, and water to make this.
  • Take a medium bowl, pour some sugar, coffee, and water. Vigorously whisk until it thickens and holds its lofty, foamy shape. 
  • Fill a glass with ice and milk, then swirl the wiped coffee mixture on top.
  • Your amazing Dalgona coffee is ready to rock your Insta Feed!

2. Chocolate Cake:

  • Looking at the current situation, it may not be wrong to say that, " Lockdown will not be over until everyone has baked at least one cake
  • Jokes apart, Cake is our all-time favorite dessert but making it requires a lot of ingredients and efforts. Here's how you can make it quick and with very low ingredients.
  • All you need is  2 Packets of your Favorite biscuit, 1⁄2 cup sugar, 1⁄2 tsp baking powder 1 cup milk, and 1 tsp vanilla. 
  • Roughly break the biscuits and add it to the food processor along with the sugar.  Keep biscuit mixture to a glass bowl, add in the baking powder. Mix Well.
  • Now add the milk and the vanilla. Mix until everything is well combined.
  • grease the 4’ inch baking pan with oil or butter. Transfer the batter in the pan and carefully place this pan in the cooker on top of the wire rack.
  • Cook the cake for 45-50 minutes. At last, carefully remove the cake and let it cool completely.
  • Your super delicious Cake is ready. Grub!

3. Garlic Bread:

  • Okay for those who are not a Sweet tooth, we got you a savory savior. 
  • For making garlic bread you need are 1/2 cup butter, 3 to 4 garlic cloves, 1 loaf of bread, 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley or coriander, and 1 packet of mozzarella cheese.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and mix with minced garlic and dried parsley. 
  • Place  bread on a medium baking sheet. Using a brush, brush generously with the butter mixture. 
  • Bake in oven approximately 10 minutes, until lightly toasted. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and Butter. Return to oven until cheese is melted and bread is lightly browned. 
  • So good and SOOOO easy.

4. Pizza:

  • Pizza is our favorite Triangle. We love Pizza! Make your pizza with these simple steps.
  • Ingredients required; Pizza base, 3 tbsp pizza sauce, 3 tbsp onion, roughly chopped, ¼ cup capsicum, roughly chopped, ½ cup mozzarella cheese, grated, ½ tsp oregano/mixed herbs.
  • Take a Pizza Base. spread pizza sauce generously leaving the sides slightly. Also, top with topping of choice.  spread grated cheese and sprinkle Italian seasonings. 
  •  After that, bake at 500 deg F for about 12 - 14 min. 
  •  Finally, slice and serve pizza hot.

5. Pani Puri:

  •  Who Doesn't Love Pani puri! Everyone does. But can make them at home is easy? 
  •  Well, check our recipe and you know the answer!

Puri Recipe for Pani puri:

  • In a large bowl take 1 cup Rava with 3 tbsp maida. add 2 tbsp oil, crumble and mix well. now add ¼ cup hot water and start to knit. sprinkle water as required and knead to a smooth and soft dough.
  • cover the dough and rest for 20 minutes. Now pinch a very small ball sized dough. roll and flatten into a small disk making sure it is thin.
  • Deep fry in hot oil, do not overcrowd the oil. fry on medium flame until golden brown and crisp from both the sides
  • Puri is ready for pani puri. once cooled completely.

 

For khatta meetha pani preparation:

  • take 1 cup tamarind extract in a large bowl and 3 tbsp jaggery.
  • also add 1 tsp chaat masala, 1 tsp cumin powder, ¼ tsp pepper powder, ¼ tsp  chili powder, pinch hing, ¾ tsp salt, and 3 cups cold water.
  • mix well and khatta meetha pani is ready to enjoy with golgappa.

 

Aloo stuffing preparation:

  • Take 3 potatoes, ½ onion and 2 tbsp coriander in a small bowl 
  • add ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp chaat masala, ¼ tsp pepper powder, ½ tsp chili powder, and ½ tsp salt. mix it well.
  • aloo stuffing is ready to enjoy with puchka.

 

Assembling pani puri for serving:

  •  Add boondi to theeka pani and khatta meetha pani.
  •  Make a hole in the center of puri.
  •  Stuff aloo into a puri.
  •  Dip into theeka pani or khatta meetha pani as per you want and enjoy.
  •  Finally, pani puri recipe is ready to serve.
